CHRIS KWAN

Chris is the COO & CTO of EXS Capital Group, responsible for overseeing the operational and technological strategies of the group.

 

Along with Cathy, Chris co-leads Advisory, Corporate Finance and Investment activities for the Group from EXS Capital Asia Limited in Hong Kong.
 

Chris joined EXS in 2013.  Prior to EXS, Chris has over 10 years of experience in banking and held various positions at global financial institutions including JP Morgan and Citigroup, where he led the financial control, risk management, operation and technology functions. 
 

Chris started his career as a Fin-Tech specialist in 1997 and was the original architect of the online trading platform for boom.com, the first online stockbroker in Hong Kong that offers multi-lingual stock trading services in 12 exchanges.
 

Chris graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and received a master’s degree in information technology. 
 

He is bilingual in English and Chinese and is licensed by the Hong Kong Securities & Futures Commission and the Hong Kong Estates Agents Authority.
